Human Design Energy Types


Human Design identifies 5 distinct Energy Types, each with its own strengths, strategies, and challenges. Your Energy Type explains how your designed to interact with the world and others energetically:


1. Manifestors

Initiators of action and ideas.

Key Characteristics:

  • Independent and innovative.

  • Driven to create and initiate projects.

  • Can experience resistance if they don’t communicate their intentions clearly.


2. Generators

Builders of energy and sustainable work.

Key Characteristics:

  • Highly energetic when engaged in satisfying activities.

  • Designed to respond to opportunities rather than initiate them.

  • Frustration arises when they commit to the wrong pursuits.


3. Manifesting Generators

Multi-tasking creators who combine the traits of Manifestors and Generators.

Key Characteristics:

  • Quick to act and pivot when needed.

  • Efficient and versatile but prone to skipping steps.

  • Design to respond and inform initiation.


4. Projectors

Guides and directors of others’ energy.

Key Characteristics:

  • Focused on recognising and amplifying the strengths of others.

  • Thrive when invited to share their wisdom.

  • Risk burnout if they try to keep up with Generators’ energy.


5. Reflectors

Mirrors of the community’s health and vitality.

Key Characteristics:

  • Completely open energy centers, making them highly sensitive and perceptive.

  • Naturally reflect the well-being of their surroundings.

  • Need time to make decisions and find clarity.
